relating the count and the cousin to Lucy Nelson or, The Boy Girl

The cousin is seen as a uneducated woman who does what woman were supposed to do, and is good at it, to just sit there and look pretty. Throughout the story she is the love sick puppy totally infatuated with this foreign statue of perfection. Only to find that he was not everything he was said to be.in the other story Lucy Nelson starts off being the girl she wanted to be, although its notaccepted by society and even her family. she was what is known as a "tomboy" Instead of watching her sisters as role models she looked at them as something she didnt want to be. She accompanied her brothers when they went skating and when they went outside to play. To punish her later in the story she had to wear boys clothers for a whole month. At first Lucy didnt see this as a punishment but a privilege later she found that is was embarrasing and from then on she was lucy nelson no longer the Boy girl but just a girl. Although she changed her clothes i feel as if she wasnt like the cousin. it seems as if she had a mind of her own and wasnt not easily manipulated. these characters have many more differences than similarities.
